What if Roger Zelazny had undertaken to write his own version of Grisham’s The Firm? You probably wouldn’t get a book quite as good as Max Gladstone’sThree Parts Dead, but it might feel a bit similar. Tara is a young Craftswoman, talented at necromancy, and on the run from a raging mob in her home town.  Taking a job with a prestigious Craft firm Kelethres, Albrecht, and Ao, she finds herself overseeing a dispute regarding the death of a god, trying to head off the potential destruction of a city, and solving a grisly murder.  Will she win in court?  Will she stay alive long enough?
