Ancestry Aficionados @ Chelsea District Library at Learning Lab

We welcome family history researchers to spend some time digging into the library’s online genealogy resources, such as Ancestry Library Edition, HeritageQuest, SeekingMichigan.org, and our own StoriesofChelsea.org. Expert volunteers will be on hand to offer advice and guidance for next steps in your family tree exploration.Please register in advance through our online event calendar, calling or by visiting the library. We emphasize developing basic digital skills with not only laptops, but tablets and other mobile devices. Training is also available for library services like Overdrive eBooks, Zinio digital magazines, Consumer Reports and other databases and how to effectively use the Library’s new Enterprise online catalog. This program is aimed at educating users rather than computer repair.
Please register in advance through our online event calendar, calling or by visiting the library. Registration is very important so that our volunteers can prepare for your questions.
