CDL’s winter reading game is back—play online or at the library. From Jan. 3–31, cuddle up with some great books for a chance to win a cozy gift basket or a $50 local gift card.
How it works:
- Read any book of your choice. Need a recommendation? Ask a librarian!
- Sign-up at chelseadistrictlibrary.beanstack.org or call a librarian at 734.475.8732 ext 219 to register.
- Once signed up, you can log and/or review books online or stop in and post your review on our book display on the second floor. Ask a librarian for help. For each book you read, you will receive a ticket for our grand prize drawing. Want to review a book? You get an extra ticket!

* Read the Washtenaw Reads book Such a Fun Age
* Attend a storytime
* Attend any other CDL program
* Attend the Teen Pizza & Paperbacks Book Club
* Attend Tween Book Club
* Read a book set in winter
* Read a cozy mystery
* Read by a fireplace - For the first book you read, you'll get your a packet of premium hot cocoa! For every book you read or review after, you'll earn one ticket for the grand prize drawing.
