Artists Alley features over 14 working artists and writers from the worlds of print and web comics, book publishing, and local young creators who’ll be displaying their work–with material for sale, the occasional free giveaway.

Camp Pencilpoint! with Joe Foo and Mike Roll  

Camp Pencilpoint is bringing all of its drawing antics and tomfoolery to Chelsea! Join Rubi and Drew and other friends from Camp PencilPoint. You’ll be guided through a step-by- step tutorial to draw a crazy character. Join us for all the fun, all the drawing… and possibly some bagpipes?

Costume Parade with Captain SRSLY

Meet Captain SRSLY at the Costume Parade!  The Chelsea District Library is the place to be on October 21st!  Wear your costume and join us for a costume parade starting at 11:00am in the library’s McKune Room and ending at Jet’s Pizza!  All ages are invited to participate.  In partnership with SRSLY Chelsea.

Denise Cugliari from Chelsea Chalk Art will lead a chalk art workshop outside in the Reading Garden, weather permitting.  She will be demonstrating how to draw iconic superheroes, with chalk provided.
