3rd Annual Music in the Air Spotlights World-class Duet at our Adult Summer Reading Kick-off!

Saturday, Jun. 8 | 2–3pm
Chelsea District Library | Reading Garden

Accomplished pianist Jacopo Giacopuzzi returns to Music in the Air! This year, he shares the stage with the talented cellist and composer Georgy Gusev. Grab a seat or bring a blanket and join us for this extraordinary opportunity to hear classical music in a casual, outdoor environment.

For the past two years, Giacopuzzi has enchanted us with his piano virtuosity and sparkling personality, and we are delighted that he will be visiting Chelsea again. He’s performed at major festivals and venues, lectured, and served on competition juries throughout the United States and Europe.

Gusev performs at major music festivals and events worldwide with other musicians, singers, dancers, and performers including Yo-Yo Ma. He has worked with notable composers Randy Jackson, Kenny G, and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds. He is a prolific composer and founder of the Moscow GOSH Projects – a nonprofit group of young artists committed to actively promoting the cultural exchange between artists of different countries while supporting new projects for young, talented artists from Russia.

For a preview of  this year's featured musicians, visit their YouTube channels: George Gusev | Jacopo Giacopuzzi
