Washtenaw Reads: A Conversation with Jason Reynolds & Brendan Kiely | Premieres February 16 at 7pm

Watch Jason Reynolds and Brendan Kiely’s special conversation about the 2021 Washtenaw Reads selection, All American Boys. They discuss how they came to write All American Boys together, the importance of the book’s themes in their own lives, and how we can create meaningful inter-racial dialogue around issues like police brutality.

Spring into Positivity

During the first part of this hour-long life coaching event with Dianna Kause, learn 10 simple lifehacks to train your mind to view life through a positive lens. After some discussion, we will end with an uplifting, guided meditation.

Truth in Writing Workshop

Participants who attended and enjoyed Part 1 of this writing workshop are invited to join us as Michelle gives feedback on participant writing samples. We encourage all attendees to try their hand at submitting a sample, and Michelle will select 5 samples per session to discuss.

Led by Crystal Scott, Visual Arts Coordinator at Chelsea Area Festivals and Events, this tour can be enjoyed from the comfort of your home OR you can put on your sneakers, grab your smartphone, and follow along as Crystal explores each sculpture.
